Charlatte Model GC-20 heavy-duty chassis is a gasoline powered modular vehicle designed to be customized and used in a variety of ramp applications such as a lavatory service truck, passenger stairs, hi-lift cleaning van, hi-lift maintenance platform, or deicing truck.  The unit’s rugged design makes it a GSE grade replacement to a commercial truck chassis.

The vehicle has a GVWR of 20,000 lbs. and is capable of a top running speed of 20 mph (32 km/h).  The unit is powered by a Zenith 139 hp gasoline engine with an automatic transmission (Transfluid).  Many aspects of the unit (including length) can be modified to best suit the final application.  The unit is available with a wide variety of options including a single or dual passenger cab with wipers, heater, defroster, fan or air conditioning and dome light.
